" In this drawing, I transform my own body into a landscape. Using vibrant color and a shift in orientation, this drawing examines the body as a site of experience - sensual, physical, and transcendental. The color palette references thermal imaging, introducing temperature and dimension to the body. I tried to identify it as a space I inhabit and blur the difference between the visceral and the cerebral. Sexuality is the presence in my own body, and my body’s presence in the world."
